Visited this dealership today for service on a 2024 Ram Promaster. Was very disappointed on several levels. Made an appointment weeks ago for a radio head black screen and inoperable. I was told the appointment
would be many weeks out as specific technician is required. After arriving prior to my appointment time I waited 5+ hours before the vehicle was even looked at.
The van is a professional converted camper van. I was advised that the dealer does not cover anything done by the conversion company - totally understandable. Immediately upon looking at the vehicle they noted wiring done by the conversion company and said that's the problem which will not be covered under warranty. I was told it would take several hours of diagnostic work and I would be responsible for the cost. I refused this option and asked for specifics regarding the faulty wiring - nothing substantial was provided. While I was at the dealership waiting 6-hours after the scheduled appointment time I did some online research via some Mopar forums. The problem I took the vehicle in for has been reported many, many times and a procedure for a hard reset was provided in the details. After being forced to pay $175 for nothing other than finger pointing to the third-party manufacturer and told it would cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to repair I came home performed the reset provided in the forum and all issues resolved and working well. A wasted day, wasted $175 for nothing other than finger pointing. The only positive from this experience was having the time to research the issue and finding the very easy fix online!
Heading to Phoenix for service needs going forward.

By far the best car buying experience I have had. Shane helped me out a ton. He made the experience very comfortable and easy. He also made sure to go into detail on aspects of buying a car i didn't understand so i knew what i was getting into. The atmosphere of the staff was also very warm and welcoming. I would not recommend a place more than this one. Thank you Shane! I love my new jeep.

Everyone made me and my husband’s buying experience wonderful. The salesman, Joe, was phenomenal. From the time we walked into the sales floor, had an intro, test drove, and got financed was pretty quick! He got us exactly what we wanted. Don the finance manager and the GM were great also! I was intimidated coming into the dealership to buy a new truck and trade in mine. I was met with a smile and a friendly Hello. By Shane Lund ,I was instantly at ease his friendly way and his tattoos made me feel at home right away being tattooed myself. Shane was professional and helped me get into my new truck also my financer Dominic Mayo was amazing. This was a dream team I was in and out in a couple hours with me new truck. Very good experience I'll be back for all my maintenance and upkeep. They had the greatest deals

You know, I'm not from Flagstaff nor do I know anything about Flagstaff. I'm purely here for work. Place is quite on the high priced side of things and I thought CO was bad. I got into a work situation and unfortunately but maybe fortunately, I had to purchase a vehicle. I was actually looking at night time and I got a text from this number at this dealership. Her name is Val de la Torres, beautiful young lady and very good on the customer service side of things. She knew what I wanted and she was straight to the point. Every time she came with an answer and I didn't quite like it, she just smiled and stayed quiet. The answer was something I could take or leave but she did everything she could to make it work. I realized that buying a vehicle today is very different from even 2 years ago. The numbers could be better but who's numbers are perfect? They gave options which put me at ease. Then the finance guy was very honest and open with me and helped me with a ride home, thank you. I'm not sure how the other sells people are but Val was excellent. Sometimes, it isn't just about the sell but she wouldn't let me leave as she knew it wasn't just a want but a need at this time. She has a different sales approach and I think I like it. Thank you to the team at Planet!!!

This review is not a reflection of my service advisor Austin, who did his job well. However, my experiences with both the sales and the service departments have been abysmal.

Initially, my husband and I visited the dealership looking to purchase a new jeep. After 30 minutes of not even being acknowledged by a single individual on the sales floor we left. This worked out to our advantage as I was able to find a lightly used version of the vehicle we wanted at an excellent price point elsewhere.

Since this is the only Jeep dealership within 2 hours of my home we decided to try their service department for routine maintenance and any issues that arose. Day to day maintenance and oil changes seemed to be handled fine, however just before my last scheduled oil change the auto start/stop light came on in my car. I figured I would just have them look at it during the oil change visit. At my appointment they informed me they could not look at those things at an oil change appointment and I had to schedule another appointment for a later date. When I arrived for the second appointment I was informed that this particular diagnosis takes time and they would likely not be able to finish at an afternoon appointment. I had informed them of the issue when scheduling the appointment, so the fact that I could not complete a diagnosis during their chosen appointment time was disappointing. They were actually able to finish the diagnosis that afternoon but were not able to complete the repair because they did not have the part in stock. They gave me the option to either pay them for a part they didn't know when they would receive it or I could call back the following week to see when they had received the part. Good customer service practices would suggest that they should call me when the part arrived. That is not how they work. I called back the following week and they had received the part but could schedule an appointment for at least 1-2 weeks out since they were busy. I brought my car in to have the part replaced and after leaving the dealership with the "repaired" car I noticed that the warning light was still on. However, the dealership had already closed for the day. I called the next day to inform them that their "repair" had not fixed the problem and was told that they did not have any available appointments for another three weeks. Having no other options I scheduled at their next available appointment. When I arrived for this third appointment I was informed that they were very busy and that they would not be able to look at my car until the following day. I was able to leave the car there without too much inconvenience and they contacted me the next day to tell me that the repair was now a main battery replacement that would be an additional diagnostic fee and $500 for the battery installation. I was informed that this "might" be the fix to the problem but they would not know until they switched the battery.
This is either incredibly poor design by Jeep or the dealership does not have a good way to actually diagnose problems. I elected not to have them do the work and went to go pick up my car. There was initially some pushback on them charging me the additional $185 diagnostic fee since I believed that the money I had paid for the initial "fix" should have covered the diagnosis of the problem. They eventually concurred. Upon picking up my car I was handed my keys to find that it had not been returned to drivable condition. The main battery compartment was left open (under the passenger seat), the floor mat was still moved and the passenger seat was folded forward and pushed as far forward as it would go. I have never received a car in this condition after a service appointment and it was incredibly disappointing. I have little faith that their current solution of replacing the main battery will actually work. Unfortunately this was likely my last time at Planet Jeep and will be taking my business elsewhere.
