This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I came into your store to trade in my phone from T-mobile and open a new line with Verizon on 9/6/2024. Your employee Joseph “helped” me. I am a full time college student at NAU and I work every day I don’t have classes to be able to afford my bills. I shared this with Joseph and told him I needed the cheapest alternative for a service plan. He did not help me with this whatsoever. In fact, he did the complete opposite. I was in the store for about 2 hours where Joseph was relentlessly trying to sell me just about everything you have to offer the entirety of my visit. When he first told me my bill for the visit, I was baffled at the price. Against my consent, he included numerous things to the purchase that I never told him to add. After questioning the total, I had to have him take 3 or 4 things off my bill that I never asked to be put on (he also didn’t make it easy to remove the additional charges that HE added). In addition, I was never given ANY options for phone service plans. He placed me on a plan before saying ANYTHING about my options and when I questioned the plan he put me on he told me that he put me on the cheapest one, which was a bold faced lie. He placed me on the $80/month plan which is the second HIGHEST phone plan you have to offer. I questioned him again because it seemed too high to be the cheapest plan, he assured me that it was “the cheapest option for opening a single line” n that if i wanted a cheaper alternative I would have to have a family line with multiple other ppl. I found out soon after, when I went home and looked up your rates online, this was a complete lie. Furthermore, this wasn’t the only lie I was told. I was also told that the protection plan (that HE added to my purchase, again without my consent) could not be removed from my account until after 6 months. After leaving your store, because of Joseph, I was under the impression that the cheapest monthly bill available with Verizon was around $115. Now after going on your website and switching EVERYTHING that Joseph did to my account, my phone bill comes out to around $60/month. I am utterly disgusted by the service I received. Not only did Joseph refuse to give me my options, he would not explain any of the charges he spontaneously added to my purchase unless I questioned it. To make matters worse, the “explanations” that I was given were completely untrue. I feel beyond taken advantage of by your employee and have never left an establishment feeling worse than I did yesterday. I came into your store hoping to be helped by someone who would had my best interest in mind, instead I was assisted by someone who clearly cares more about his commission than Verizon’s customers. I will not be returning to this location ever again because of this interaction with your employee Joseph.

They don't open at the time stated and haven't updated the website with new times. Got a new phone, and the next day, it didn't work. I took my lunch according to when they said they were open, got there, and they were closed.
