A very well organized and clean retail space with excellent pricing. They always have great sales. This is my favorite thrift store in the Anchorage bowl.

Horrible, they had a sign saying donations closed. So I called to ask if I was able to leave stuff assuming someone might have forgot to grab the sign when they opened since right above that sign said donations allowed during open hours. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude, disrespectful and hung up on me. Just for asking about the donations. And they wouldn't accept donations at all because "they had a lot" I met the delivery truck as I was leaving as asked if I could throw my stuff in the truck really fast they said ya no problem. The lady in the front didn't like I found a way around her no but it made my day.

An older gentleman was working at the front while I was checking out, I saw two pairs of clothes in the glass catch my eye and I asked if I could see them. He said no they were on hold for a “regular” for our store. I asked him if customers are aloud to do that and he said, “no just pretend you didn’t see anything” and just smiled. This situation was very displeasing from a customer/new customer pov.

The moment i walked in they wrongly profiled me and followed me trying so hard to be inconspicuos they just looked ridiculously pathetic. I do NOT steal and have always spent a decent amount whenever i shop here.... rude and humiliating for nothing. Never again will i hand my money to a company with as judgemental , rude employees!

Id like to compliment two your employees, Ria and maria, for the excellent service they provided me today. Ria was very informative in assuring that I had the best access to all the pricing. Ms. Maria went above and beyond by greeting me warmly and making a special trip to let me use the restroom.

There is a lot to be said about how happy a businesses employees are. Both gals seemed genuinely happy to be there and wouldn't hesitate to assist you whatever the request.

Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to not only donate my used goods but also do business with salvation army for years to come.

My compliments on producing such a great variety of affordable items. The prices here can not be beat anywhere else in town, and that's from a professional bargain hunters.

Sometimes I am forced into buying things I have no use for, simply because I can't afford NOT to buy.

I look forward to the dimond store re opening as I am very fond of the staff there too.
