My first auction ever and it was an awesome experience. Sold some goats and purchased a new buck for my farm. Huge turn out and lots of items and livestock sold. Was a bit hot in there though.

Got there yesterday at 08:35am to drop off some birds and when I pulled up there were 3.5 rows of empty cages infront of people who had cages with birds… when I asked Terry what’s the deal with this and asked questions he got downright nasty and hostile towards me and in front of my 4 year old daughter… later I’m noticing those cages belonged to people who are working there.. big buddy system going on here! No auction I’ve been to allows this it’s first come first sold… also purchased a rooster and had it stolen granted I got a refund but this ain’t the first it’s happened to people they have issues with theft a lot up there… might be fine to be a buyer there but if you’re looking to sell go elsewhere I traveled 50+ miles and got up early to get there only to get screwed over along with other people just because there’s a system in place! After last night I’ll never be back and I’ve been going off and on since I was a teenager

Everything was going good till I found out guy living behind auction in camper was selling and smoking dope. He had a cowboy hat on and said his name was cowboy go figure. He tried to sell me and my wife some weed and meth. So be careful cause he is the guy that loads your purchases. He has a couple female was s living in small camper with him and they all look sketchy as hell. I don't think I'll be going back. It made my wife so uncomfortable

Worse place to go to. Tri county chicken auction in millbrook, AL...........Drove 2 hours to get there. Arrived at 2pm. Was later than I wanted but not to many ahead of me so I was happy. Mind you I drove 2 hours to get there so had to just wait in my car till the sale started. I did look at everything that was already there incase i saw anything i wanted. Livestock sales didn't start till after 7pm. As I sat and waited and waited, I began to notice a lot of animals going up that were not ahead of me. Actually most of the animals I saw began to show up after a lady who I was told used to work there showed up. So she showed up at 730 and everything she brought (evidently a truck full) was immediately put in the sale.

I was patient and still waited and waited. At 945, I had enough (remember 2 hour drive home still), I went to the back to get my birds and saw that they were still in the line but people that just showed up were simply sticking their birds ahead of the line because there was now room since the sale had started.

This is not the way people should be treated. Total disrespect and disregard for others. I, myself was among many others grabbing their birds and leaving. (Vowing never to return). So if you are wanting to sell your birds, I highly recommend NOT going here. You are better off at your local farm swap or Facebook marketplace.

Most disgusting auction in alabama. No one will clean anything. Birds are always shaking their heads, one was even fallen over in the cage, too many sick animals. They move cages so your stuff you bring, goes last, if you have good stuff because the flippers want it cheap to make $ to bring to the next auction. This has happened to everyone i know at some point but happens to me every time. Everyone knows their game. They are all crooks up there theives and in a click. Don't eat the food they cook, they salt the fries, lick their fingers and turn them, their food Handling is so out of control off the charts against health code!!! The whole place is so unsanitary, they need their seats cleaned and the whole auction house sprayed out its vile. If i could rate negative stars i would. I've had waterers and feeders stolen so make sure if you sell here (if you are that desperate even despite after reading all these bad reviews) its only a matter of time before this auction house gets shut down. State is in there almost every time i go testing birds (odd because i only go a couple times a year) I'll drive to another livestock auction to sell my birds, sell on fb pages or at farm swaps before i go back there.

I loved the experience of being outside and having a experience in a old barn type building with the food truck type fair atmosphere and the thrill of the sale. I actually sold some lights myself. It is strictly anything that can be used for a farm. Yes you will have a little dust and different smells in the air, because farm animals have their own oder if you have ever been on one. Remember that nothing is perfect, not even me,or you. And you never know what is going to come up for bidding next.......so gather all the folks and get them ? chickens and pigs to sale or buy....ima.....going back. Oh I forgot,.......If you have a allergy problem with different types of animals, or afraid to get a little dust on your self .........please stay home........lol.

People are welcoming, auction owner is constantly adjusting when issues arise, a fun time all around. Starts with eggs and chicks, then goats/sheep, and ends with chickens.

If I had the option not to give a star I would. Very "clickish" and thieves. They have certain people they cater to and screw everyone else. They don't believe in first come first served. They mark a number of the front row center seats for their favorites, and don't sit in them whether they show up or not. They also give your cages away for free even if you have a sticker stating not to sell the cage. And don't offer any help to call the person who took it to bring it back. I'll never go again.
