I've been living here for 7 months and I love it, the apartment is huge and with a lot of storage space, the kitchen is nice, the appliances are not new but they work perfectly and the surroundings and amenities are the best. The leasing team is very kind and always willing to help. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM is FAST, you notify the property about the issue and it gets fixed in hours without any follow-up from your side. I am thrilled living here, neighbors are respectful and kind. Location is a plus as well.

I am writing this review to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the management at Ridge Crossing Apartments. My experience with the living conditions and the property's management has been extremely troubling, particularly concerning tenant safety and rights.
1 week ago, a tree fell onto our apartment, creating a significant hole in the roof. This incident has not only compromised the structural integrity of the building but also exposed us to various safety hazards, including water damage, mold, and pests. Every time it rains water drips right into our apartment. It has rained every other day. The living conditions have become intolerable, and it is alarming that such a serious issue has not been addressed promptly.

Despite numerous attempts to contact the property manager to report this issue and request a meeting to discuss our concerns, we have received no response. Calls have gone unreturned, and emails have been ignored. When my husband was finally able to find the manager she replied that she is over three other complexes that were affected by the storm. This blatant disregard for tenant communication and urgent maintenance requests is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Tenants should not have to live in fear of their safety being compromised due to negligence from property management. The lack of action and communication from the management at Ridge Crossing Apartments demonstrates a concerning neglect of tenant rights and well-being.

I urge the management to take immediate action to address these unsafe living conditions and to improve their responsiveness and accountability to their tenants. It is crucial for the health and safety of all residents that these issues are resolved without further delay.

Until these problems are adequately addressed, I cannot recommend Ridge Crossing Apartments to anyone seeking a safe and well-managed living environment.

I have lived here a total of 12 years and have had problems with rude noises neighbors above me for over a year. Nothing has been done to assist me with the problem but being a Senior Citizen I cannot live on the top floor. Not a good place to live if you want a quiet home.

I recently moved here in march 2024 and my experience has been terrible. I applied for a unit that was suppose to have white cabinets and stainless appliance but when I got here the cabinets were painted dark brown and had black appliances. The unit was roach infested, the kitchen had mix-matched counter tops, white stuff on the counter in the bathroom that didn't come off, toilet was broken and so much more……..it was a hazard trying to transfer units and when I did eventually get another unit I was told to just pay the full months rent, which I did just for them to turn around and charge more money saying that I owed for prorated rent for the new unit which is crazy because they should have just prorated it for both units in the first place instead of having me pay for a full month. I had to pay for movers twice within two months of staying here and had to buy take out for a month and a half because I couldn't put food in the unit due to it being roach infested. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The unit was not ready for move in at all!

Ridge Crossings has by far been the best apartment living experience I’ve had in the Birmingham area. The staff is extremely helpful. Squeaky has always gone above and beyond for any issues that have come up. Highly recommend!

My rental professional is Angela. She is kind, accommodating, and professional. When I had concerns, she made sure I was as informed and the repairs were completed in a timely manner. I am grateful for her and the entire staff. Their customer service is phenomenal. Thank you.
