Good place for ganga snan near delhi NCR if you can't go to haridwar. Just 2 hr drive from Delhi. Proper ghat available for ganga snan. You can enjoy the boat ride too. During kartik there is a big mela which one should not miss. Near brij ghat you will find some beautiful temples.

I recently visited Brijghat located in Garg Mukteshwar. Many people from different locations in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi come here to take Ganga Bath. On weekends this place is very crowded. You should take a boat ride and cross to the other end. There are proper facilities and the area is also clean.
I just have one request from the people that please keep the area and Maa Ganga clean. It's just not the responsibility of our government to keep it clean. It's our collective effort that will help in keeping Maa Ganga clean.

A holy place for Hindu on the occasion of Kartik month holy dip in the Ganga river. The place is just 100 Km away from Delhi. Being a holiday on the Sunday, there was heavy rush on both sides of the national highway number 9 to Lucknow. We crossed the river on the boat and took a holy dip in the Ganga river.
