I typically don't believe in bad reviews but this place deserves it. I ended up here due to a ton of flights being canceled and everything was booked. Avoid this place at all cost. The rooms are dirty and run down. The toilet had a pube on it. The bed had someone's fluids on the blanket. There is dirt caked to the carpet. The mattresses are soiled and old. I literally walked around with my shoes on. A step up from a crack den only because there are surprisingly no sketchy characters hanging around. On a the plus side my room had a big flat screen tv, if you ask me money could have been spent better elsewhere in maintaining the rooms.

So my husbands family booked this hotel for us on our trip to the Liberty Bowl. Heed all the other review's warnings & stay away. When we walked in to the lobby it smelled so bad I wanted to just leave & find somewhere else but my husband insisted we stay since it was only 1 night. So I sucked it up got our bags & tried to make the best of it. We made our way up the stairs to Room 1. It was nice & roomy-I was suprised. However upon stepping into the room my excitement quickly faded. Everything has a layer of grime-especially the walls. In the bathroom & next to the bed on the walls there was "male fluids" on the wall-seriously! There was mouse poop & hair on the bathroom floor, the fridge I don't think had ever been cleaned & I woke up to finding a candy wrapper in bed with us-only we didn't eat candy while we were here. Also broken outlets & wires hanging from the ceiling where I suspect a smoke detector used to be. Oh I almost forgot a mirror fell on my oldest daughter, luckly it didn't break & cut her.||On to room 2. Room 1 was a dream in comparison. You walked into this room & the stench about knocked you out. I'm really suprised that my kids/family that slept in this room didn't get sick. There were holes in the bathroom door, walls, the tv was so blurry you couldn't tell what you were trying to watch. I'm sure there were many cleanliness issues as there were with room 1 but the stench was so bad I wasn't going to stick around to look.||This neighborhood is NOT good. We were waken up at 1:24 A.M. due to a fight. Seriously if you have a choice stay elsewhere. I honestly don't know how they can rent out these unsafe rooms-they can't be up to code unless Memphis has really low standards.

I have traveled many places, including developing countries, but this hotel takes the cake as the most disgusting hotel I have ever been inside in my life. I was persuaded by the reviews saying that the negative reviews were from people who expected too much for a cheap hotel. Honestly, all I wanted was a clean place to sleep since my husband and I had been driving for 12hours. I didn’t need it to be new, nice, or modern. Just CLEAN.

As we walked up the stairs to the second floor there were brown liquid stains running down the walls. There were blood and other fluid stains on the mattress, holes in the mattress, black mold in the shower/bathroom, filth on the walls, and more mold on the ceiling. It looked like a horror movie. I almost cried because I didn’t want to sleep here, but the other hotels in the area were booked and we were too deliriously tired to drive much further. The only positive thing I can say is that we checked the mattress for bedbugs and didn’t see any signs of that.

Though they say breakfast is included in the package, all they give is coffee, cornflakes and some sugary roles. Bread would have been much better option. For $70 a day the linens are dirty. We had to ask for a different bedspread and pillowcase the day we reached, the different pillow cover also had a big black blotch. Room doesn't have a iron or a coffee machine. WiFi is included but has no connectivity. We have been using up our 4g. We are hurricane Irma evacuees from Miami and staying here till Tuesday as we have no other choice as this is the only hotel that had vacancy. While I have heard that most of the hotels have been not charging pet fee we have been charged $50 for our cat.
