I love this hotel and the area it was in. It was very quiet and safe. I had 0 issues. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. Valet was prompt and friendly. The cleaning ladies could be a little quieter in the mornings. They were talking very loudly. Despite that, I would still give the hotel 5 stars.

The stay was enjoyable, but I was charged twice for valet parking (appeared as a duplicate charge, an additional $72.44, total of $144.88 for two nights at $35/night+tax) Hyatt Global Care Center built a case with all relevant proof (itemized hotel bill and credit card statement). I followed up months later after noticing that the charge was never refunded, and was informed that the case is closed because it was denied by Hyatt Centric Beale Street. Now, I am pursuing the $72 once again with Nashville Hyatt Accounting. Due to the length of time, they can only offer points (their books are closed?), meanwhile, I was never notified that I wrongfully lost the case. Double check your statement if you have used their valet parking. I advise parking elsewhere, if possible.

As she has amazing style. I was here for a couple of days and every time I called for my car, by the time I got down there it was in the driveway. Amazing job. Shot out to Rob, Aaron, Aaron, TJ, Trevor, Gabby, and Leon.

This hotel is excellently located for seeing and enjoying downtown Memphis. We were so close to Beale Street and the Orpheum Theater. The sites were within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with the largest shower that I have experienced in a hotel. We will return.

Disappointing Stay at Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis and had one of the most disappointing hotel experiences. After a long day, I got into my room late at night, only to find hair in the bed at 1 AM—not just one strand, but multiple, making it clear the sheets hadn’t been properly changed. Even worse, I also found a random pill on the bed, which is completely unacceptable and a major cleanliness and safety concern.

On top of that, the room was uncomfortably hot. No matter how much I adjusted the A/C—even setting it to 65 degrees—it never cooled down properly, making it difficult to sleep.

The next morning, I brought all these issues to the attention of the front desk attendant, expecting at least an apology or some effort to make things right. Instead, all I got was, “I’ll speak with housekeeping.” No apology, no concern, just a dismissive response.

For the price and expectations of a Hyatt property, basic cleanliness and proper customer service should be standard. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
